My reflection about today's class. Is based on the blessing. Today we took notes on the characteristics of the origin of myths. We learned that includes details of the creation of art the creation of humans and the creations of plants and animals. We also made some connections between religion and Myth today. I'm having a hard time recalling the bell ringer, however we did also learn that some prevalent themes in Native American literature as we are starting to get into could be living in harmony with the natural world and kinship with animals, plants, the land, Heavenly Bodies (ancestors), and the elements. Due to it being the first day of us learning this it may take me a while to be able to write a full reflection on something like this however it was a pretty informative class..
